Release Date: April 3rd 2015

Director: James Wan

Budget: $190 million

Gross: $1,511,726,205 (worldwide)

Target Audience: 15 - 25 Males (primary audience) 15-25 Females (secondary audience). The primary audience would be males, this is because they are more likely to have an interest in cars, which is what the film is predominantly about.

As the series of films got bigger, the audience moved from people who were interested in cars, but also to people who were interested or fans of the actors and actresses.

How does it compare to other films made by the same director?: Most of his other films are horror, whereas this film is an action film. It shows that he can create films that are more gory as well as fast paced action films.

What do target audiences think of this film?: The people that I asked from this target audience said that they enjoyed it lots but also thought it was quite emotional due to the recent death of Paul Walker while they were filming. This recent death made the film more emotional as it was the end of a series of films and a beloved persona, who many of the target audience were personal fans of. However, they also enjoyed the fast paced action theme to the film that carried on from the previous films.

Reviews:

'Finishing the film in Walker's honor clearly brought out the best in everyone' - Peter Travers, Rolling Stone

'A group more bulletproof than The Avengers, causing more mayhem than General Zod. Think Universal doesn’t have a superhero franchise? Think again' - James Dyer, Empire

'Furious 7 is another solid Fast and the Furious installment - one that (flaws aside) provides a nice farewell to star Paul Walker.' - Sandy Schaefer, Screen Rant
