Secondary Qualitative  Research – where I will be investigate two or three channels on existing programs.  I will be analysing on their target audience, modes, style and anything that I can link to my program. - 

This method is effective because I will focus on  just one mainstream channel known as Channel4 that has got other subsidiary channels like the E4 and More4.

My task will be to find out what the gap in the market is on the terrestrial  channels for my programme.

Primary Quantitative Research – where I will conduct a survey about whether there is a gap in the market .  I will specifically design for my target audience.

Hereby, I can also ask my target audience whether they have seen  or heard from my documentary ever before. And whether there is a gap in the market for the issues in my documentary has never been raised. - 

This method will be highly effective because I can ask them what is missing in the factual programming market which is similar to my program and appeals to teenagers. What hasn’t my target audience yet seen in the factual programs. Then, I will count in order of what is expected from my target audience.
